Exosome Research
Extracellular vesicles 是由細胞產生的奈米等級小囊泡，主要的成員：Exosomes、Microvesicles 和 Apoptotic bodies，可以做為細胞間溝通的聯繫。幾乎所有的細胞都會製造、分泌,在血液、尿液、唾液、脊髓液等各種體液都可以發現它的蹤跡。
最初發現這個小囊泡時，科學家以為它只是一種細胞代謝所產生的廢棄物，而後發現它含有細胞特異性的蛋白質、脂質和核酸，可以傳遞訊息，在細胞之間的聯繫扮演著重要的角色，參與各種生物作用，如免疫、發炎反應、 血管生成、凋亡、凝血等，也發現它跟腫瘤細胞轉移有很重要的關係。
不同細胞會分泌細胞特異性的 Extracellular vesicles，因此可以作為疾病診斷的指標。也因為有傳遞、保謢訊號的功能，有科學家把它當作藥物傳遞的新工具，所以 Extracellular Vesicles 的研究越來越受到重視。而 SBI 出了一系列針對 Exosome 研究需要的工具，相關應用有 Isolation、Detection、 Quantitation、 Labeling、 Biomarker Discovery 以及 Engineering。

利用 Size exclusion chromatography 原理，可以大幅減少 Albumin, Immunoglobin 的干擾

獨家的 buffer 系統搭配 size-exclusion chromatography (SEC)，減少 Tamm-Horsfall Protein (THP) / uromodulin 干擾。
若要抓取 subpopulation EVs，可以選擇 Exo-Flow 2.0，利用 Exo-Flow beads 與有興趣的抗體形成 beads-antibody complex，進而抓取 subpopulation，放大 Exosome 的訊號，利於用 flow cytometry 分析。
利用 Exo-Flow 2.0 beads 各別抓取帶有 CD81, CD63, CD9 的 Exosome，後續做 western blot 確認 Exosome 相關 marker-TSG101 的表現。
亦可做多重 marker 分析，用 CD9 或 CD63 beads 抓取 Exosomes，並同時染 CD14-FITC 抗體。
